-
Cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 3 below.
Information From Advertising Partners
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). As part of this, we use tools such as the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API on our Site, which share certain information about your visit (such as pages viewed or actions taken) with Meta. Section 3 explains this in more detail and how to opt out.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
-
Provide, personalize, and improve our coaching services, including designing safe workout and nutrition programs.
-
Communicate with you about your account, sessions, and coaching progress.

We do not sell your personal information for money. As explained below, sharing data with advertising partners like Meta may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state privacy laws, even though no money changes hands, and we give you a way to opt out of that.
3. Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, to understand how visitors use our Site and to measure and improve the performance of our Facebook and Instagram ads. These tools may:
-
Track pages you view and actions you take on our Site (such as submitting the contact form).
-
Allow us to show you our ads on Meta platforms after you visit our Site (retargeting).
-
Allow us to build custom or lookalike audiences for advertising purposes.
-
In some configurations, share a hashed (encrypted, non-readable) version of information like your email address with Meta to help match ad delivery to the right audience.
Your choices:
-
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from Meta by adjusting your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences or through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.
-
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Note that blocking cookies may affect how the Site functions.
-
If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat that as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information, where applicable.
-
To request that we stop sharing your information with Meta for advertising purposes, email katie@fuelandfit.net.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money. We share information with:
-
Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host (Wix), payment processor (Stripe), email or scheduling platform, and the hosting/database providers behind our coaching app.
-
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising, retargeting, and ad performance measurement, as described in Section 3.
-
Legal and safety purposes, if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fuel and Fit, our clients, or others.
-
Business transfers, if Fuel and Fit is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not share your health or fitness information with advertisers.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in other states), including the right to:
-
Know what personal information we have collected about you.
-
Request a copy of, correct, or delete your personal information.
-
Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (see Section 3 for how to do this with respect to Meta).
-
Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email katie@fuelandfit.net. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
6. Health and Fitness Information

Information you share with us about your health, fitness, or nutrition is not protected health information under HIPAA. That said, we treat this information with care, use it only to design and deliver your coaching program, and take reasonable steps to keep it secure as described in Section 8.
